Audit Partner
Hillary Wheatley is an audit partner at PKF San Diego, LLP. She began her auditing career at Dixon Hughes Goodman (now FORVIS) in Roanoke, Virginia, before relocating to America’s Finest City in 2015. She has been fortunate enough to have gained considerable experience in many diverse industries, including not-for-profits, manufacturing, healthcare, biotechnology, construction, hospitality, broker-dealers, and employee benefit plans.
Hillary is a graduate of Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science in Business, double majoring in Accounting & Information Systems and Finance, and holds a Master of Accounting & Information Systems (MACIS). Ms. Wheatley is a licensed CPA in Virginia and California, a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), and is a member of the AICPA, VSCPA, CalCPA, and ACFE. When auditing, Ms. Wheatley enjoys coffee, lively debates about risk assessment, and researching new accounting standards. When not auditing, Ms. Wheatley enjoys hiking, reading, spending time with family & friends, and cheering on her alma mater – go Hokies!
