Tax Partner
With over fifteen years of experience in all aspects of tax, Charles performs tax services related to trust, estate and gifts, closely held businesses, and high net worth individuals, including international tax compliance. His core belief is that cooperation, with financial advisors, attorneys, and other professionals, is key to determining optimum tax solutions for clients.
Charles graduated from San Diego State University and has a J.D. and L.L.M. (Master of Law – Taxation) from the University of San Diego School of Law. He is also a California licensed attorney. His career began at Ernst & Young, LLP before joining the United States Marine Corps as a Judge Advocate General in 2006. After completing his service, Charles worked for a regional tax firm, finally joining the PKF family in 2018.
